Salto Wild Yeast


Made from 100% Mavrofilero grapes harvested late in the high, cool plains of Mantinia in the central Peloponnese, Salto is fermented with wild yeasts to give the most natural expression possible to the grapes and local terroir. Produced by award-winning Greek winemaker George Skouras, it is almost transparent and packs an intense wallop of aromas from rose to jasmine, sweet lemon, lime, grapefruit, and citrus. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with an explosive, delicious, refreshing acidity and aromas of citrus, flowers, and tropical fruits. It offers a complex, medium-long finish.
