This is a fresh, mineral and fruity white wine from Sardinia’s native Nuragus grapes. It paris perfectly with the grilled chicken, fish, vegetables, pastas and pecorino that are staples of the Sardinian diet. One of the things I love about Sardinian wines is that you can find award-winning, democratically priced wines not only from fancy estates, but also local agricultural cooperatives as in this case. The Cantine di Dolianova takes in grapes from producers in the area northeast of Cagliari and produces a number of great wines.
