Dolianova

A wonderfully rich, fruity red wine made mostly from Sardinian Cannonau grapes, Anzenas goes well with red meat, pizza, spicy pastas and mature cheeses. One of the things I love about Sardinian wines is that you can find award-winning, democratically priced wines not only from fancy estates, but also local agricultural cooperatives as in this case. The Cantine di Dolianova takes in grapes from producers in the area northeast of Cagliari and produces a number of great wines.
