Argiolas

An excellent Cannonau from Argiolas, one of the biggest and best quality wine producers in Sardinia, this dry red wine is perfect with red meat, pizza, pasta (with a red sauce) and aged cheeses. Antonio Argiolas founded the vineyard that bears his family’s name in the 1930s and was one of the first wine makers in Sardinia to prioritise quality over quantity. The result propelled the winery, now run by the third generation, to one of the best-known in the island and throughout Italy. Cannonau is the ‘classic’ Sardinian red grape.
