This is a classic red from Portugal's Douro Valley. Made by Quinta do Crasto, whose vineyard provides the "hero" image for the home page of this website, it's a dry, elegant red wine with good body and rich tannins. Aromas of dark berries and cocoa mix in the nose and the mouth. Smoky cherry finish. A great 'everyday' red wine made from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Souzão grapes.
